unfamiliar water may cause a stomach upset. Mineral water (agua mineral) is cheap, widely
available and sold still (sin gas)
or carbonated (con gas).

The voltage supply is rated at 220/230 volts (in some bathrooms and
older buildings 110/120 volts).

| Motorways |
120km/h (75mph) |
| Dual carriageways |
100km/h |
| Country roads |
90km/h |
| Urban |
50km/h |

Fuel prices are similiar to the UK and some service stations are
definitely not self-service.
The usual grades of fuel are available - sin plomo (unleaded, 95 or 98
octane) and gasoleo or gasoil (diesel).
Taxis
Only use taxis that display a licence issued by the local authority.
Taxis show a green light when available for hire.
In cities and towns, taxis are metered. Where they are not, determine
